Brightwood Ranch Full Time Positions
We are a Christian camp owned and operated by Hope Mission - an inner city rescue mission. The camp owns 220 acres in rolling hills located one hour west of Edmonton, Alberta. We operate programs for youth ages 6-17 through 6 day resident and outtripping camps. Our summer camps are for underprivileged kids and the year round program includes men and women in drug and alcohol rehab programs as well as youth and kids who attend the mission's after school programs and indoor skate park.
Head Cook/Food Serrvices Manager - Responsibilities include: planning menus, ordering, cooking, managing and disciplining summer kitchen staff, cooking for weekday groups in the off-season, and occasional weekends.
Salary: $2,000 per month plus housing and utilities.
Start date: March 1, 2011
Secretary/Office Manager - Responsibilities include: handling camper registrations and general office duties.
Salary: $10 per hour plus housing and utilities.
Start Date: Feb 1, 2011 or as soon as possible after that.
All food is covered for both positions during the summer months and some of the time when we have groups. Allstaff are asked to be a part of the whole camp ministry when possible and not just limited to thier respective position.
