About Camp Chestermere
Camp Chestermere conducts weekly overnight camps during July and August. Camps average 112 over-night campers per week, as well as 75 day campers. Weekend camps run throughout the school year. A CLTD program helps the camp to develop and disciple new young leaders. Camp Chestermere employs 5 permanent staff and up to 50 leaders during summer camps. Community, business and non profit groups rent program space at the camp during all of the non summer months. The camp is currently revitalising its property, including the building of a new main lodge, now under construction. The camp is located on the shore of Chestermere Lake, within the Town of Chestermere, about 10 miles east of Calgary, Alberta.
Our Mission: To present the love of Christ to youth in a safe and fun environment, inviting them to respond in order to facilitate a lifelong Christian spiritual journey.
Our Vision: To build a healthy, Christ-centered community of leaders, teens and children by fostering and sustaining healing and growth.
The Camp board is recruiting now for the position of Executive Director, which is currently vacant.
Compensation package includes a generous salary and benefits package, as well as the use of a modern, family-sized house on the camp premises.
